The Animal Breeders Association of Latvia was established in 1993 with the aim to provide breeding services to all entities that want to engage in farming, rearing and reproduction of breeding animals. The status of an organisation was awarded to the Association in 2001, thereby enabling the performance of breeding-related tasks under public administration.
